St Modwen’s £90m town centre development is to be simply known as Wembley Central.
The scheme comprises 135,000 sq ft of retail and leisure, 24,000 sq ft refurbished office space, 85 affordable homes , 174 private apartments, refurbished multi-storey car park and a new public square fronting the High Road.
The development has now reached a critical stage: hand over of affordable housing to Genesis Housing Group, fully let units, and car park to open in February 2009. The Centre itself will open in stages — south retail, Spring 2009; East Retail, Summer 2009 and finally West Retail, Summer 2010. |
